Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001)

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is the first movie in the Harry Potter film series based on J. K. Rowling’s novels. For the USA and Indian market the title was changed into Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone like it was done for the books before. Since the story is taking place in the real world and the sorcerers world a mix of real and surreal filming locations had to be chosen. The result are stunning filming locations all over the United Kingdom.

“It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends.”
