Connie´s wedding scenes

Connie´s Wedding scenes had quite a few memorable moments in the film history.

One of them was the scene where the whole Corleone family gathered for a group photo. When he was told that Michael hasn’t arrived yet Don Vito Corleone refused to take the photo.

The scene in which Key Adams and Michael Corleone discussed the business of the Corleone family is also in the backyard near the house. After Johnny Fontane (Al Martino) begun to sing, Michael told Kay how Johnny became a star with the help of his father. Although Kay insisted that Michael tells her the whole story, she was still shocked after hearing it. Michael then added and assured her that this is his family and not him.

In the middle of the Corleone´s garden, they build a stage and a dancing floor for the guests. The performers have brought Don Vittos wife, Carmela Corleone (Morgana King) to the stage, where she had to sing the famous Italian song C’è la luna mezzo mare.

The part of the street that was in front of the entrance to the courtyard, was used as a parking lot on the wedding day. It was the scene where Santino ‘Sonny’ Corleone (James Caan) attacked and broke a camera of some photographer.
